Drawing on an MBA and a career shaped by disciplined decision-making, he brings a strategic, data-driven approach to land acquisition, development planning, construction management, and project execution. Tim Saylor’s journey in construction began in Osceola, Iowa, where a high school vocational program gave him the opportunity to build a home from the ground up. This early hands-on experience, combined with trimming and framing work, laid the foundation for his lifelong passion for craftsmanship.
After relocating to Iowa City, Tim spent a decade managing a concrete crew while continuing to refine his skills in framing, trimming, and general construction. His deep curiosity about the entire home-building process led him to expand his expertise into plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems—ensuring he understands how every element of a home comes together seamlessly.
With years of experience and a strong foundation in all aspects of home construction, Tim launched his own building business. Since then, he has successfully completed a range of projects, from zero-lot residences and single-family homes to light commercial construction—always with a focus on superior craftsmanship and attention to detail.
